It started with a call for help from Tuscany in 2015. A good friend, mid-road trip and deep into a winery crawl, had collected 12+ cases in his rental car — then realized U.S. Customs isn’t fond of bootlegging. I rerouted him to a trusted winery partner, navigated the red tape, and had the wine delivered to his doorstep — legally.
